Do You Let Your Children Surf The Net?

Do you think the internet is safe for your children? I have a 12 year old daughter and she is really addicted to myspace. But I've heard of all the sex predators caught on myspace and I don't think myspace is a place for young teens. What do you think? Would love the feedback!
